Heritage Model Aircraft

David Leier started training on the CT-114 Tutor in February 1967, with #1 CFTS, in Gimli, Manitoba. His first solo was in CT-114 “093” on April 19, 1967. He graduated in August 1967, and was selected for training on the CF-104, his dream assignment. He also was a Flying Instructor at #2 CFTS Moose Jaw from May 1972 to December 1975, and on a second instructional tour from August 1979 to July 1981. He was transferred to “Air Command Standards”, CFB Winnipeg, and served there from August 1981 to March 1984. Hence, this model of that Tutor “093”.
