This original painting, in the Art Gallery of the Montreal Aviation Museum, inspired me to build a 1:32 scale CF-104 “12704”, as seen in the foreground. That model is now on permanent display at the Montreal Aviation Museum, and prompted three ex-RCAF CF-104 pilots to commission the building of their respective aircraft, “711”, “739”, and “846”.
