I was commissioned by Dr. Peter Roper, its pilot, to build the Airfix 1:24 Hawker Typhoon Mk.Ib (late) model of his aircraft, code letters SA-Q. It was destined for a museum in France; however, during shipping by a third party, it was severely damaged and, to my knowledge, has yet to be fully restored. The attached document is an exhaustive review of the build, complete with a large number of photographs taken during said build.
